M&G Polímeros México, a leading PET producer whose products are marketed under Polymers Sales and Logistics (PSL), proudly announces the installation of a state-of-the-art PET bottle washing line as part of its ongoing commitment to sustainability and the circular economy.
The new facility is capable of processing up to 5,700 metric tons of post-consumer PET bottles annually, producing approximately 4,300 metric tons of high-quality hot-washed flakes. These flakes will be reused in M&G Polímeros México’s chemical recycling operations, supporting the company’s mission to close the loop on plastic packaging.
Equipped with advanced wastewater treatment technology, the line enables the reuse of 100% of process water, significantly reducing environmental impact and conserving valuable natural resources.
